Designing Action-Driven Warehouse Solutions

Company: Axon — US-based enterprise logistics tech
Domain: B2B warehouse management (Ops, Analytics, Control Tower)

At Axon Optimization Hub, I led the end-to-end UX for a Control Tower platform aimed at transforming complex warehouse operations into actionable, real-time interfaces.
Starting with a rough proof of concept, we designed a scalable solution to help warehouse managers detect bottlenecks, interpret live performance data, and act quickly.
Through iterative improvements, we introduced visual process maps, modular dashboards, and parameter-driven configurations—reducing dependency on development teams and ensuring easy adaptability across warehouse clients. Our work enabled better coordination across sales, implementation, and operations, ultimately improving decision-making and efficiency across warehouse environments.

What is Control Tower?

A Control Tower is a centralized dashboard that sits on top of your warehouse systems (WMS/WES) and brings together data from every zone, robot, workstation, and shipment lane into one real-time view. Why Is It Required?
  • Everything in One Screen
Brings inventory, robot, and workflow info together so you don’t have to switch between tools.
  • Live Status Updates
Shows what’s happening right now—where work is piling up or moving smoothly.
  • Early Warnings & Fixes
Notifies you of slow spots and offers simple steps to clear them before they become big problems.
  • Easy Deep Dives
Click any number or chart to see the story behind it and learn what to improve.
  • Plug-and-Play Setup
Works the same way in every warehouse—so you can roll it out quickly without starting from scratch.
